The International Society of Automation (ISA), originally known as the Instrument Society of America, is a leading, global, nonprofit organization that is setting the standard for automation by helping over 30,000 worldwide members and other professionals solve difficult technical problems, while enhancing their leadership and personal career capabilities. Based in the United States, ISA develops standards; certifies industry professionals; provides education and training; publishes books and technical articles; and hosts conferences and exhibitions for automation professionals since its inception in 1945.
The dedicated efforts of industry experts have long contributed to successful ISA standards, development activities, individual accomplishment and excellence has moved the industry forward.
ISA believes that recognition of these individuals should be a priority and it was a privilege for ISA Delhi Section to honour Shri GK Pillai, CMD, HEC Ltd, Ranchi for his contribution to the industry in India, specially in the Process Control field.
Shri GK Pillai, CMD, HEC Ltd, Ranchi received the citation recently in the annual meet of ISA in N Delhi. The citation was presented to him by Shri Sheel R Bhatnagar, President, ISA Delhi Section.
