With deep sorrow and shock, we inform that Sri M R Venugopal, Director(Personnel)
left for heavenly abode on 20th May, 2010.
A graduate from Madras University, he did his P.G. diploma in Social Service Administration
in 1975 from Madras School of Social Work. He had unique blend of Public & Pvt. Sectors
exposure of Managing business through Human Resource Development. Prior to joining HEC as
Director(P), he was associated with many organization like SCCL, Sponge Iron Ltd. (Hyderabad),
Bharat Dynamics Ltd.(Hyderabad), HAL (Bangalore), Tamilnadu Telecommunication Ltd. (Chennai)
and BEML (Bangalore). He played a vital role in the revival of HEC and made noteworthy
contribution in changing mindset and improving work-culture of the organization.
We pay our tribute to late M R Venugopal. May his soul rest in peace!
